The metaframe Framework

Working Paper #001

Navigating the intricate realms of gaming and professional environments, the metaframe framework emerges as a pivotal tool, meticulously intertwining gaming personality and work personality, while accentuating the nuances of personal mastery and team synergy. This working paper thoroughly unfolds the metaframe, presenting a detailed exploration of eight distinct styles across varied dimensions, each reflecting a unique blend of personalities and skills that permeate both gaming and professional spheres.

From Azeroth to the metaframe

In the early 2000s one of the authors entered Azeroth and led a raiding guild in the "World of Warcraft" in 2004. He found himself orchestrating a team of 60 individuals. The challenge was not merely about assembling characters with complementary abilities but also about creating a team where individuals, with their unique playing styles and personalities, synergized effectively. This early exploration into virtual team dynamics, leadership, and strategy in gaming environments laid the initial seeds for what would later evolve into the metaframe Personality framework.
